On a very positive note, Kaylee hasn't fought with us on "time to lay in bed" lately. Praise the lord! :) That stage was getting extremely tiresome and frustrating for everyone. Of course there is always other obstacles at bedtime, but that one seemed to be the worst in our household. Tantrums at bedtime on a nightly basis is never fun. 

 

And Makenna has been sleeping through the night for us for a few weeks now. So nice of her to let us, namely Kelly, sleep all night. She sure loves her sleep, hope it stays that way. Daycare was so surprised when she took a 3 hour nap in her crib. Poor little girl has had high temps and diarrhea the past few days though, but seems to be finally getting over it. Can't wait for Spring and Summer so all these colds and flu bugs disappear! Maybe we should just move south, ha.

3 months old!

Our little darling turned 3 months old today. Here are a few pics of her, although kinda serious, but it was early in the day so we'll give her a break. She's starting to hold her head up very well, and loves being in this position so she can check out everything that is going on.

People seem to be 50/50 on who she looks like. Today at Daycare, two teachers said they think Kaylee looks more like myself and Makenna more like Kelly. We get different responses from people all the time.

 

And a short video of Makenna. It's quite hard trying to control the camera and make a baby giggle at the same time. I'm not coordinated like that, :)  Oh and making sure the camera is the right way, woops! ha

 



Makenna's first day!

Only one pic to share of Makenna getting ready for her first day of daycare. She looks a little cramped, haha! She enjoyed it and was a great little girl so said the teachers. And of course Kaylee was super excited to have Makenna at daycare with her. We'll have to snap a few more pics of her actually in daycare, :)

Bored on a Sunday morning...

Putting together some Valentines Day packages for Kaylee's friends at daycare! Makenna's even helping out.  Speaking of Makenna, she's been sleeping in her crib the past few nights for 10 hours, woo hoo! Such a good baby she has been for us. Kelly goes back to work on 2/12, so Makenna is cooperating very nicely with the new routine.

Oh and CONGRATULATIONS to some good friends of ours on the news of a new baby on the way! We are very excited for you all! :)

Snow!

 

A hard day's work today at the Banse household. Kaylee wanted to help shovel snow this morning. She lasted about 10 mins before she said it was too cold!
