Happy Birthday Dad and Grandpa!

Yup, another birthday in the family. This time my Dad turned 68 today! What a nice night it was for the birthday celebration! Happy Birthday Dad!!

Happy 9th Birthday Emily!!

We celebrated Emily's birthday today in Rochester and even though it was too chilly to go outside, we managed to have fun inside. Emily's Dad Mike drew a picture of Kaylee a few weekends ago to our surprise and gave it to her today. It was a random shot where she was cuddled up against my leg after a play we attended... And yea, only took him a few hours, jeesh. How thoughtful.

Finally on the mend...

Makenna is finally starting to get over her nasty head cold. Poor little thing was in rough shape. Here are some random's we took recently of Makenna eating and Kaylee playing. Thought I would share...

Makenna has been talking quite a bit lately. Well baby talk that is. She loves to scream in this high pitched voice, it's quite hysterical.  And she loves to scream while on the changing table at night time. Kaylee enjoys watching her get dressed, so her face is right up next to Makenna's. And when Makenna is doing her normal screaming, Kaylee cries and says "she is screaming at me!"  And this is only the beginning I'm afraid, haha.

Makenna's Baptism

On this beautiful Spring Sunday, we were able to celebrate Makenna's Baptism with our family. Errr, what? Snow and slush! On a mid April Sunday? What the heck! I thought Spring was finally here. Well nonetheless, it was a fun day and Makenna did great. Here are some pics...

Spring is here!

Finally, spring has arrived. What a long winter that was. We were able to get outside and do some chores and have some playing. We visited the park close by and Kaylee loved it. So nice we have such a great park so close. It felt great to see her outside playing again with kids. She was in such a good mood after we came home. You could tell she needed that!

Makenna has been such a good baby. If they could guarantee we could have more babies like her, I think I would have 5 more, haha. Seriously though, she is so fun and easy and I'm loving it. She loves being in the center of playtime with us, and loves to laugh when we are being silly. She hasn't been a good napper in her crib for us since she was born, maybe an hour if that, tends to like to sleep in her swing for naps. At least bed time she cooperates fairly well.  Today though she took a 3 hour nap in her crib, crazy! Tonight we gave her cereal for the first time. She did well! Here's a video of her...
