Fun / busy weekend...

We took the girls to the Childen's Museum and then went to visit Baby Gavin (Kelly's niece's new son). So I guess that makes us a great aunt and uncle, scary! Anyways, we figured Makenna wouldn't enjoy seeing Mommy hold Baby Gavin, but we were wrong. She did cry, but she was crying because she wanted to hold Baby Gavin. I sure get a kick of that girl of ours!

Finally!!  "My Baby Gavin" were the constant words we heard...

Didn't even consider giving Makenna some corn on the cob, but then after she asked to try Kelly's, she ended up grabbing the cob and eating it. Again, I just laugh.

North Spot Lodge - 2014

We headed to the Rahn's cabin this past week. It's a 5 1/2 hour drive but the girls did well, at least on the way up, :)  The short history behind this cabin is 12 guys from IBM built it themselves back in 1976. Some of those guys are still a member of it, while other families have joined in the past years.

Every day on the way home they love to sing along to the Frozen songs. I figured I better capture it once before time passes by. They are quite the singers but did get a little camera shy. Sad news...

I lost a few people this past month in my life. An uncle and an aunt, both siblings of my Mom's. Their death's were inevitable as they were dealing with brain cancer and cancer from asbestos. So sad.
